The Decon Field Guide

PREVIEWS.png

In late 2017, First Line Technology found first responders and military personnel needed a quick resource tool for handling hazmat incidents. Three years and 2,500+ approved users later, the Decon Field Guide is now one of the most sought after digital tools for the community.

When First Line Technology decided the 2017 Decon Field Guide needed a major overhaul, I took on the role of Project Manager.

In the beginning stages of development, I created new icons and graphics for the development team to use, laid out basic wire-frames, and mapped out user experience flows from A to Z. Throughout the entire process, I embraced my role as the point of contact and made sure the developers always had what they needed to stay on track with out agreed upon timeline.

When the Decon Field Guide 2.0 was ready to launch, it was my responsibility to have a launch plan already in-motion in order to engage a wide range of end users. Through an extensive email campaign, social media push, partnership with a non-profit organization, and high-dollar giveaway, the relaunch of the Decon Field Guide was a success.
